The property is located on the outskirts of Letna Park, overlooking Prague Castle. Development potential is limited by a tunnel beneath it. The building’s morphology is based on the tree of knowledge (Diderot) – consisting of a root, trunk and treetop. Underground archives form the root area, while the actual library is in the treetop.
