    Floh/Seligenthal (D)

The main idea is to express the close ties between the community centre and the church through architecture. The building consequently opens out onto the town centre and the church like a protective hand. The covered entrance area can act as a “town loggia”, creating a new, sheltered meeting place with pleasant ambiance.
The theme of the old churchyard wall is adopted, combining the two church establishments and protecting the interior from the expected street noise. The hall area is designed as a multi-purpose area which can form spaces ranging from 27 to 160 sq m using the mobile partition wall system.
